clamming w/ bare hands : ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

diggin for clams with bare hands is good old fashioned fun. it is difficult to tell where they are, although i did get squirt (squirted?) once. i was constantly mistaking rocks for clams as the place i was digging was very rocky, this is where we had had the most luck. it loses a couple stars for the pain it causes your finger tips, and the cuts. but the pain it causes becomes more worth it when you find a nice perfectly sized clam or two. i find it rewarding to get food from digging on the beach. i did not eat the clams, my friends did, but because they were enjoyed generally i will give digging for clams w/ bare hands 3 stars.
