okay wow.... if not already obvious this book is one of those books you can find at the grocery store and are known to be tacky. it was actually a gift for my 23rd birthday from a friend, shoutout to riley. this book has been sitting in my room by my bed for a year, i was having trouble getting through the first page, where the main characters meet each other and he is wearing a shirt that says "i'm too sexy for my shirt". anyways, because this book is based in boston, and i am on a trip to the east coast, i thought it might be interesting to bring along and read. i've read this book on the plane, on a train, and in a museum. after finishing it, which i have to say is a big accomplishment for me since i have not finished a book since highschool, i came to conclusion that i do not hate this book. it is totally tacky, just what you would expect from a book in the "romantic suspense" category. that being said, this author had done quite a few of these, and it's good for what it is. what it lacks in worthwhile reading and actual learning of any kind, it makes up for in comedic value of reading it start to finish. maybe it has a lot to do with the feeling of finally finishing a book i have started, but i enjoyed reading this book. the ending is sort of what you would expect, there was some sexual tension and moments of fire, that can be brushed off due to the ridiculousness of the book itself.
