It is 2024 and I have never in my life had a roommate, besides multiple cats, and I guess my sister when we were kids, both of which I am not counting. Because of this I sometimes think about who I would want to be roommates with (not that I ever could be roommates with any of these people but if I could this is who I would pick).
These are not in any particular order.
Matty Matheson who is a chef and is also in The Bear :
Pros: I think he would cook for me, and he would be a good influence because he doesn't drink.
Cons: May be loud at times I don't want him to be, and he has a wife and kids so that would be weird.
Tobias Funke from Arrested Development :
I actually feel like this would be hell on earth at times. That being said I do not take it back. I think he would be funny enough that it would make up for all of the frustrating things he would do.
Pros: Constant laughable moments, having a very platonic friendship
Cons: Probably would let people into the house that I don't want there, might borrow things and never give them back, probably would never pay rent on time or at all and may actually burn the house down.
Terrance from Pop the Balloon or Find Love by Arlette Amuli :
I feel like I need to put some more context here because unless you've been watching Pop the Balloon from the beginning you will not know who this is. Terrance was in Episode 2 and Episode 4 of this youtube series and both me and Kevin took a liking to him. He is a soft spoken electrician who is often turned away because of his height.

Anyways...
Pros: Seems like he would be sweet and a good roommate, probably clean and stays to himself most of the time, also seems handy so he would probably be able to fix things around the house if needed.
Cons: After watching more of Terrance on youtube it seems like he might have a hard time communicating well so that could cause some problems as a roommate.
Schmidt from New Girl :
I feel like I don't have to explain this one but if I have to it be pretty simple, he seems to be actually invested in his roommates lives and also seems to be a good friend.
Pros: Clean, and invested
Cons: He is Schmidt
Titus from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt :
Again not much I feel like I have to say, but this is a little more of a classic trope of women wants gay roommate to be good friends with.
Pros: Seems to be invested and also a good friend, funny and makes the best of situations
Cons: Might not be able to chill sometimes, would probably make fun of me sometimes.
